What you’ll get from your supervision
Real clinic experience
Work with real clients and real treatment scenarios across body tattoos, coloured tattoos and cosmetic tattoo removal.
Practical decision-making
Build confidence selecting laser parameters, assessing skin and tattoo characteristics, recognising endpoints and adjusting treatments when required.
Flexible supervision
Arrange supervision around your existing commitments, with options to complete sessions at my Brisbane clinic or at your own clinic if you have your own laser.
What you’ll build during supervision
Stronger treatment judgement: Learn to assess each case individually and make informed decisions rather than relying on preset settings or rigid protocols.
Confidence selecting parameters: Develop a clearer understanding of how to choose and adjust laser parameters based on skin type, tattoo characteristics, pigment and treatment response.
Broader case experience: Gain exposure to body tattoos, coloured tattoos and cosmetic tattoo removal, including brows, lips, eyeliner and scalp micropigmentation.
Practical problem-solving skills: Work through real treatment challenges and build the ability to troubleshoot, adapt and make sound clinical decisions.

Supervision that fits around you
Your supervision can be structured around your existing work and personal commitments. Sessions can be completed at my Brisbane clinic, where you’ll work in a real tattoo removal environment with access to a broad range of treatment cases. If you have your own laser, supervision can also take place at your clinic. Travel outside Brisbane can be arranged, with additional travel fees applying where relevant. Before supervision begins, you must hold the appropriate trainee licence. It is your responsibility to make sure your licence is current and suitable for the supervised training you are completing.
What supervision actually includes
This is hands-on supervision based on the reality of working in a tattoo removal clinic. You’ll take part in consultations, assess clients and tattoos, select treatment parameters, perform treatments, recognise treatment endpoints, document cases, review healing and aftercare, and work through complications or unexpected treatment responses. The focus is on developing practical judgement, problem-solving skills and the confidence to make sound treatment decisions independently once appropriately licensed.
A broad range of real treatment cases
Your supervised experience can include a varied mix of tattoo removal cases, helping you build confidence across different pigments, tattoo types and treatment challenges. Cases may include: black and grey body tattoos coloured body tattoos cosmetic brow tattoos lip blush eyeliner scalp micropigmentation You’ll also gain experience working with different wavelengths and learning how treatment choices change depending on the pigment and presentation.
Support that continues after supervision
Your support does not end when your supervised hours are complete. You can continue to contact me for help with treatment cases, parameter selection, clinical decision-making, documentation and general tattoo removal questions as they arise. That ongoing support is there to help you keep developing your judgement as you move into independent practice.
